They came up in conversation. It was the 4th of July, the grill was yet to be poofed. Deviled Eggs, yep. Funny finger food that, if you have the taste for it, is the bizzle. Yeah, I just made up something that was maybe suppose to be pun like for bomb. No need to hide things that are “bomb ass” , those things are always good, and can be called so. But yeah, Bizzle. Let us bury that actually. The wood worker maker fella came in right after their mention, and he basically said, he would walk over to the store in a bit and get some eggs and such to whip some up. It was mentioned, and it was followed through. I enjoyed these, we all did. Oh, i’m just a bit hungry, I think this decided this subject. I ate well today, a good day of blessings and time to reflect. I can always get down with a Sunday to chill. Big bike ride, stake cake. Wait, I rocked steak and cake on the same plate, then on the same fork. It was hella good. Yellow cake with chocolate icing, and thin cuts of a very steak that D rocked on the grill. There were moments of meaty vanilla mashed potato feel going on with the Stake n Cake bits. Not mine alone, it’s part of the Systems Systems business plan idea box. I ate well now that I’m recalling that aspect of my night. Point is…. On the 4th, these were on point.

There is a new flavor of Doritos. It’s called Late Night Cheeseburger, and I’m sure they taste crackalickishly good. But come on, they are so up front with the whole corn syrup food science shit. It’s gaudy. Witty, but really. How about something really useful like cheeseburger scented furnace filters? White Castle and 3M bring you the Castle Pack of forced air system filters. Ah.. I guess it’s not so bad, I’m sure if I cross paths with this new Dorito I’ll make my presence known to the bag.

I like break fast over the word breakfast. I was in the break fast kind of mood for dinner tonight, and I fell for a dish called pan fried potatoes. Garlic, Spanish Onions, about 20 halved Cherry Tomatoes from steady producing plants on the back porch, Swish Chard. Spiced just right, Rooster Sauce, a tiny island of mayo, and ketchup, and boom. Happy belly. I have no idea why i’m writing about what I just ate, seems like some kind of nice intro into the moment, my moment of over detail….. No wait, that is just the talking part, i’m not doing that now, and i’m alone, well my dog is looking at me kind of funny. About to catch some Friday night air, I’m thinking the moons brightness should help the night. Oh wait, the bright moon might mean hectic minds. Oh wells.

A movie about Queen… Ok, i’m cool with it. They were actually that big in a sense. They are the top selling artist of any band from the UK… EVER. At least I believe what they tell me on the Biography Channel. Peep the Freddie Mercury episode, dope. I just met this young brotha named Cordero that has the tooth work vibe of Freddie Mercury. That dude was damn dope. DD! The last lines of that song Somebody to Love, is that the name of that song even? But yeah, now i’m thinking of Depeche Modes song Somebody, both are along the same subject matter, duh right?

I was just told by a friend on the travel tip, that I would not be chill where they currently are….. this makes me wonder if I’m uptight or something. Yeah, I guess I can be… That sucks. Ok, more honest smiles then.

So yeah…. I watch the games. Sunday, Fall, Bears, all that. I just got myself a big ass crock pot from a yard sale for $5, still in the box. I have never had one, talked about getting one for the last two winters at least. Mom would rock the crock pot, not super often, but man… Carrots and potatoes tasted good as hell cooked with any kind of meat, I liked the roast style meats and all, but I use to really get excited about carrots when the crock was in effect in our home. So yeah, i’m looking to create my own versions of big deal meals. Ugh, that shit sounded like some commercial for a fast food joint. Maybe I got that Don Draper shit? Kidding, though I like a drink sometimes, and I like women, women,,, Your The Best! I use to think I was gonna make beats for the ad type world, never got the gear together though, or did I… Bears for the Chicago love, Buccaneers for the Old School Love, Doug Williams, Rickey Bell, Hugh Green, Leroy Selmon…. and though he wasn’t a Buc, I gotta toss in an image of Chuck Muncie, I had this card, so yeah… that long.

Double Down, no…

What do I think of this kfc double down sandwich. Let me tell you, I’m an eater. I know, everyone eats… But I have a thing with special moment meals, I’m an eater. But really? This Sammy seems a bit foul.

Just have a look at this creation from the minds of KFC creatives. The obvious nasty start is the fact that the “bread” of the sandwich is chicken, they will tell you it’s chicken breast, but this is kfc. This meat product left the realm actually qualifying as chicken in the 80′s. The corporate chicken complexes give all of our nugget, wings, strips, patties, and plump plum pieces. Mega hormone huge. So yeah, that’s the bread. Two pieces of bacon, two pieces of some kind of pale cheese, and surely some kind of sauce, or at least mayo. Fuckin gross! I’m no vegan veggie only person, peace to you if you are, but I’m a occasional meat eater, and often a large plate kind of guy. The presentation of this double down says it all, American business food chain poisoning the dumb dumbs. That said, I have to house a whopper a couple times a year, I gots the American bloodlust in me. Yikes.

Been a bit, I have been…. well.. getting fat. Yep, this winter has so far been the winter of eating whatever the fuck I want. I hadn’t had pizza since like mid spring. I had a slice two nights ago, and left that experience thinking of pizza a lot. I use to order a 16″ pizza and pretty much eat the whole thing. I cut that behavior out of my life, along with other eating habits, and I dropped weight as a result. That was spring and summer, last night I ordered a 16″ pizza and ate the whole thing, not good. I”m putting this up because this kind of format helps me get back to what I need to do. The pizza was good, but only for a little bit. The end result of it was I was super full, and I had a whole damn pizza in my body. I’m not a New Years resolution kind of person, but I can tell you this… I’m done with that shit. Gonna rock fruit, almonds, and soup this week. Get the workout plan going, and get back to where I was a couple months ago. There I declared. Even if no one reads this stuff, I declare to myself.

Britney Murphy Vs. Chris Henry

Nothing about versus really. I liked both of these people. I have never met the actress Murphy, or the football player Henry. They both died over the last couple days, and something about them, and their demise makes me sad. I’m sad anytime anyone passes away, unless they are ready to go, to escape some horrible pain. Random people die every day, every minute. I hear about it, oh, so and so passed away, and these would mostly be people I don’t know, like famous folk. That is who you hear about in terms of the news reporting death, always famous folk. Nothing against a single one them. Chris Henry fell out of a truck, possibly during and argument, died. Not sure about Murphy’s cause, and I”m not one to get into some internet looking around for the facts. I just know those to have me thinking about the good things, I’m not minding that my feet are cold at the moment, or that I should buy my dog a new dog bed, those things are smallish at the momento.

On another note, These bleads are not rocking it this Sunday. Go Germany, the land of certain hotness. Hotness is everywhere by the way.

Good-Jerked Chicken Spot called Mr. Browns Lounge, in the Ukrainian Village! It’s located on the corner of Chicago and Oakley, and it opened this week. I have not been to Jamaica yet, but let me kinda let you know about something, Jerked Chicken on Bedford ave in Bedstuy Brooklyn is some of the best food I have ever put in my body. A taste that pretty much assures at least 5 meals from a week long stay in Brooklyn will Jerked Chicken, served up yummy by super Jamaican American peeps. I love love it, get it! So yeah, Mr. Browns Lounge…. Taste just like Brooklyn. But check this, they have a spicy mac n cheese that will always be the extra side I get. Chicken, cooked cabbage, rice and beans, and some amazing jerk sauce, get a side of that to just pour over the chicken and rice and beans. Oh boy. I got it to go, i’m not a eat chicken off the bone in front of folks kind of fella. Not a dish that makes me crazy with happiness, that’s some at home, game on type shit…. Like I said, Oh Boy.

That was the good.

Here is the Bad.

Bad-$14.99 for the Jerked Chicken Entree. That would be the size I get in Brooklyn, it would be called Large, and it would cost $8.50. Don’t get me wrong, that is only bad because I won’t be going there twice a week. Maybe just a few times a month. Cost yo!

WTF… Taco Bell now selling Black Tacos

Not many items in the food world are black. Taco Bell is ignoring this basic fact. They must not realize their food is an ass exploding agent. Think rotten, think ass explosion, now instinctively let the words black taco link those things. Wow. Is the vampire thing this big, Black Vampire in the White House (no knock on Obama, I love the guy, but peep the law school photos from Harvard…. Very Blackula), all the vampire crap in the tele, in the movie theaters…. Is Taco Bell onto some new jack goth tip? Could be.

Don’t ever visit Olympia without a visit to Tranacria, Fresh Pasta in a super cute little room. Done the same way for years. Eugenio Aliotta is the very very dope owner. It’s not just the Italian accent, no… that would be kinda shallow right, its the food! The menu is varied, with some options that are light and veggie freindly, but really, If you eat meat, you have to have fettuccine alla bolognese….. So Damn Good. Peep Game.

What an ill declaration eh? But here’s whats up, its true. The menu there is worthy, tapas, thoughtful salads, several sandwiches…. wait, I’m getting a bit lost here. The Burgers…. They are named after people, artist mostly. I have had four different people, and one of them several times. That one is called the Shakespeare Burger. 1/2lb burger that was clearly hand molded into the big ass burger it was. Mushrooms and onions sauteed nicely, under some solidly amounted Swiss cheese. If you eat meat, this sounds good, if you don’t…. uhm, sorry. Back to the Burger, I left out some very yummy bacon placed on top of the cheese! I eat bacon about twice a month, maybe just once…. OK 4 times, But its on this burger mostly. The two sisters that run the spot are a nice chill presence that completes the food nicely. Peace to Veronica. They kinda keep it on the fast fry style with the fries, I’d roll with the salad as the side option. They deliver…. Dang! ” Super Nintendo Sega Genesis” That’s the vibe of this burger.
