Never Share Again… thanks taco bell. you suck.

I don’t really have a super long bit of information about this.  I just want to point out that while I was chilling out watching a Bulls game the other night, I noticed a new ad from taco bell (not capitalizing…. they suck, read title)  They have a new product called something or other grillers… basically another in their long line of crap rolled up in a flour tortilla.  The twist is these are “appetizers”… so they roll up whatever the crap is inside even smaller and tighter.  It’s like they realize they no longer can roll/fold up a decent sized burrito, so they went the other direction, SMALLER? Oh, but it’s totally cool, because these are just appetizer sized treats.  Whatever about what it actually is, it’s the lead voiceover deal in the commercial that grinds my gears.  He says “NEVER SHARE AGAIN” as they show a few “dudes” on a couch, seemingly having a tough time navigating chicken wings and possibly nachos.  They are a mess of tangled arms and sauce dipping accident waiting to happen.  Yep.  Taker talk from politics are now in the realm of fast food ads.  What the fuck is wrong with sharing again?  Ugh.  Once a year or so, I feel the need to have grade D meat and waxy beans rolled up into what they call a burrito supreme, I usually have a nice guilty pleasure moment from the whole thing.  They might have lost me with this new advertisement.  I like the idea of sharing.  Also, if you live in a city with any kind of latino population, please… for the love of good food, hit up a Taquería, this is where you will find food that might make you feel good inside.  The bell is not just going to make you run for the border, drop some coffee on things and you will be running… ok, you know all about this part, so I will let that be.  In Champaign/Urbana, El Charro.  peep game.  And take some friends, order different things, and Share Again.

I went for a walk today.  After a very long dog walk, I felt the need to walk to the blood bank spot to donate blood for the first time.  All and all a very chill experience.  I will do it again in March, why not right.  But the misty warm day was only missing the sea heavy smell of low tide when it came to taking my mind to the north west.  I’m not going to live in that area again, i’m pretty sure I have done all my pacific north west living.  The smells do work their way into my memories though, and subtle things like a not real rain rainy day and the scent of wed dirt.   Nothing really mossy smelling here in Champaign,  at lest not on todays walk.  So yeah, the wet dirt smell was close enough.  I digress.   This here car on top of the old Star Imports Garage use to blow my mind when I was a much younger chap.  It’s even cooler now that the building is no longer holding a business.   I have love bugs every since my Aunt Bettie rocked a muted orange one back in the late 70′s.  Yeah, just cool to see, that’s about it.  Nothing in depth about walking around today.  World Food Harvest was in full effect for lunch.  Giving blood was a breeze.  And the walk to my mothers to hang out and eventually head to Dos Reales made this day pretty rad.  The trippy zombie weather of this evening made the ride home from practice a bit gooouuuullish.  ahh ah ahh.

Oh… Sports?

Bulls… Dope, and without Rose.  I’m a Windy City Assassin card carrying fan, Love Me Some D Rose.  But holy shit, Jimmy Butler, aka Jimmy Buckets, aka the Butler did it? This dude is a baller.  I love his mentality on the court.  Heart, Hustle, and Muscle as Stacy King likes to say.  Captain Kirk, Hard Hat Lunch Pail, Get It Jo, Booze Cruise, Spicy Meatball, Rip City, and Nate mothafuckin’ Robinson.  These fools are strait ballin’.  I know the east is weak, except the Heat, but come on… we got this.

Super Baugh- pretty cools.  I like these teams matching up this year.  Should be a good superbowl.  I wouldn’t mind if the 49ers won, I use to be a hater back in the Montana days, but… I like their story.  And the Ravens.. I like that they are a gritty East Cost squad.  Quarterbacks name is Flacco… How dope is that.  Not much else to get into about this… I am a Bears fan, so whatever to both these teams really.

Hawks… 4-0 at the moment.  Cools.  Still should have never traded Big Buff.. I root for them, but secretly hate them for doing that.  Whatever right, welcome back Hockey.

XGames…. yeah, i’m writing on this site at the moment over watching the Xgames.. Sorry all you mountain dew drinkers.  Jokes.  I do rock the Big Air aspects of the Winter X Games, and will actually log off here, and peep some before heading into the Friday night.

Cubs.. yeah.
